To maintain the look and quality of your virgin remy hair, please follow these instructions:
Wash and condition your hair with a rich moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Brush and detangle hair before applying shampoo. When washing and conditioning your remy hair do not tussle or pile the hair on top of your head, this creates tangles. Instead gently shampoo and condition the hair rubbing in one direction only. Rinse thoroughly to prevent product build-up which can lead to tangling.
The greatest advantage to having 100% virgin remy hair is you can treat it just as you would your own. Since this hair is 100% unprocessed, you can dye, perm, bleach or apply any process that you would to your own hair. The same applies to styling, you may use the same products used to create styles in your own hair, i.e. curling iron, flat iron, gels, mousse, etc.
Do’s and Don’ts
- DO – Sleep with your hair tied up, with a silk or satin wrap or in a braid.
- DO – Comb out thoroughly before shampooing.
- DO – Gently shampoo the hair in one direction only.
- DO – Support your attachment when brushing or combing your hair
- DO – Use a good vent brush.
- DO – Use a shampoo and conditioner made for DRY HAIR.
- DO NOT - Brush from the top of your hair. Begin brushing at the ends.
- DO NOT – Sleep with your hair wet.
